Bonnie'S STORY
Ardent CrossFit is my first experience with a CrossFit program. I am a senior citizen and I was under the impression that this type of training was too strenuous, especially the weightlifting aspect. I was concerned that I might injure myself. But after much prodding from my daughter and my desire to maintain or even improve on my strength as I age, I decided to give it a try.

As someone who joined Ardent fairly new to CrossFit and a couple of months postpartum, I appreciate the coaching staff modifying workouts (scaling) and helping me track my progress. The perfect balance of pushing me to get a great workout and trusting I know my limits. The gym environment is not intimidating and includes athletes of all skill levels. I highly recommend this gym!

I have used several nutrition coaches in the last 20 years; many cut my calories to 1800-2000, made me do keto, and/or cut my carbs, which made "dieting" miserable. I yo-yoed because I thought my metabolism was slow. I went all in with Coach Lara, even when it went again my previous thoughts on how I should be dieting.
